I would welcome your booking at short notice. *Please email me before booking, thank you. I am a fully licensed guide, living in Tokyo for more than 30 years. I have been to more than 30 countries on holiday and in the course of my work in a European airline for over 11 years. Visiting other countries is so much fun! My travel experiences have shown me lots of ways to make my trips more enjoyable. Let me help you make your visit to Japan fascinating! The tours I offer you vary from exclusive locations to the hidden treasures that constitute Tokyo’s unique attractions.
What would you like to experience in Tokyo? If this is your first time in Japan, feel free to add places you would like to see to the must-see spots. My tours are always flexible. Everything is up to you!
I have learnt cooking for over 10 years (food lover!). Did you know that Japanese cuisine was designated as UNESCO intangible cultural heritage in 2013? An increasing number of people from other countries enjoy Japanese cuisine. If you are particularly interested in experiencing Japanese food on your visit, I can show you the best places to enjoy authentic Japanese food, not only in exclusive restaurants but also stand-up meals depending on your preference.
If you would like to go shopping in Tokyo, I can take you to the appropriate places depending on what you wish to buy, that is, kitchen utensils, sophisticated Japanese gifts, food, clothing, etc.
You can go on a 1-day trip from Tokyo to the city close to Mt. Fuji. This includes visiting a local house, and a chance to make the local food, soba noodles. If time permits, we can visit a hot spring. Please let me know if you wish to go.
My tours are open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or sexual orientation.
Look forward to a wonderful day and a memorable trip to Japan with me!
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or queries about my tours.
Recent reviews of this tour guide:
Miwa is a lovely and gracious tour guide, who planned and coordinated an excellent 2 days of sightseeing in Tokyo covering many of the interests I had email her. It was varied with some added surprises and the best sushi I have ever eaten. Time spent with her navigating the subway gave me the confidence to go it alone on the subsequent days I had in Tokyo. I valued that I learnt first hand some of the cultural traditions especially while visiting temples. I would highly recommend her.
