Maria was lovely. Friendly and very knowledgeable.she explained and gave us a good amount of relevant information to understand a lot of history. She was very accommodating and one of the best guides we've had. It was an enjoyable day for sure .
Maria was the absolute perfect choice for our family (my wife, myself and our 11 & 18 yo sons) as our guide through the Acropolis. She is friendly, knowledgeable and a talented storyteller. She was able to make the journey interesting and enjoyable for all. She gauged the level of our knowledge and interest and adjusted our tour accordingly. We felt as though we were seeing the Acropolis with a friend rather than someone we had just met. Outstanding!

Money well spent! We hired Maria for our family of four (two girls, ages 10 and 9) for a tour of Athens on June 22, 2014. She met us at our hotel, the NJV Athens Plaza at Syntagma Square. We began our tour on a fun treasure hunt through the National Garden, the Temple of Zeus, the Panathaneic Stadium (Olympics), the Arch of Hadrian and ended at the Acropolis which includes the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Parthenon, and the Theatre of Dionysus. Friendly, fun, sweet, kind, highly recommend!!
Maria is a gem! 500 characters are not enough. 3 delightful hours with her; like being with a long-lost friend. Unknown Soldier, Botanic Gardens, Zeus Temple, Benaki Museum (Maria's passion for this was clear), Agios Eleftherios church, and more. We found the plants that matched the Corinthian and Ionic columns; we talked history, books, current events, etc. Maria knows facts, stories, theories, artifacts, all the things that make a city come alive. Passionate, enthusiastic, fun! We love her.
