Malgorzata Lubowicka Private tour guide in Krakow - Poland

Malgorzata Lubowicka

Guide profile:

I was born in Krakow and brought up here. When I was at school history attracted me so much that I started to look at my town from a different angle and as a result I attended the course for guides and became a professional guide in Krakow and a tour leader.

I have been guiding for more than 10 years. When I guide I always try to conduct a dialog with my group and refer to our imagination. During my tours I don't only concentrate on dates and facts but try to reveal people from the past, their characters, emotions, activities and explore the world of legends.

I have shown Krakow to travellers from many countries from almost all continents. I have experience in organizing regular as well as theme tours for individual travellers and groups. I arrange walking, bike and vehicle tours and tailor the programme according to your preferences. I have also launched tours for people who suffer from different disabilities. I welcome also slow walkers and people with reduced mobility, on wheelchairs including single wheelchair travellers, hearing impaired or deaf people and visually impaired or blind people with companions. My tours are organized in such a way that everyone can get the best out of them.

I have always been interested in the Middle Ages - everyday life and architecture (especially castles). Additionaly, I love experimental archaeology, traditional archery and horseback riding. Privately I am a happy wife and the owner of three dogs, a horse, five fish and a hedgehog.

On Dec. 6, 2016,my husband and I spent a wonderful part of our day touring Kazimierz and its Jewish Quarter. Malgorzata took us into the Remuh Synagogue and cemetery and Temple Synagogue. We then walked to Pharmacy Under. The Eagle at the sight of the Kraków Ghetto, Hero Square and the Shindler Factory.

Malgozata is a very knowledgable, through, and informative guide. She is a very personable person and truly enjoys her job. We would highly recommend Malgorzata as your guide in Krakow.

Hi,

We were a group of 8 from India who took the walking tour with Malgorzata at Krakow. We enjoyed the tour thoroughly and would recommend her whole heartedly. She went out of her way inspite of a eye injury to ensure that we visit all the major sites in the city and gave a very good explanation of the history and stories behind each monument.

We were a group of 4 deaf people and had an amazing time in Krakow with our tour guide Gosia who we booked for 2 days. Gosia was recommended to us by friends. We were stunned by Gosia´s expertise in history, her broad knowledge and we just enjoyed having her with us. She took her time, was patient and deaf aware. We wish we could take her with us anywhere in the world. She answered all our questions and made our trip an unforgettable one. Thank you, Gosia. Hope to see you again.

Malgorzata recently gave my wife and I a 7 hour tour of Krakow. We cannot recommend her services enough. Her understanding of Poland's and Krakow's recent and ancient history is really something to behold and her enthusiasm in delivering this information made it a joy to have her as a companion for the day. The information she provided to us during one of the first days of our holiday, really helped us to enjoy and further explore her beautiful city, for the rest of our short trip. A must do...

Very friendly tour guide, knows her stuff VERY well, easy to understand.

We booked a “custom” tour to see a little of it all.

Had a super tour, despite the cold weather.

Absolutely recommendable.
