@@@Japan's National Certified Guide MADOKA Will Help You Have Once-in-a-lifetime Travel Experiences@@@
Hi, I'm Madoka and I'm glad you found me!
I've been a freelance tour guide in Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe area for 3 years now. I also write and take photos for a local tourism website, translate business articles, and work for foreign entrepreneurs.
Meeting new people and talking about each other's cultures is exciting! That's the main reason why I considered getting a guide license in the first place. I'll be happy to take you to world heritage sites and less crowded off the beaten path destinations. Hope to hear from you soon!
What I love: Photography, Cooking, Books / Kindle, Outdoor sports, Traveling, Baseball, DIY&Crafts, Food and Beer

Reviews of this tour – by clients who booked!
Sure, lots of guides know the history and the cool spots. What sets Madoka apart is her friendliness, her ability to plan and then improvise on a plan, and her tireless enthusiasm for Kyoto. We walked almost non-stop for an entire day, saw temples and shrines, ate great food, saw cool sites, , all thanks to Madoka. We talked history, Kanji, politics and even Japanese TV. I feel like I got a tour of Kyoto along with a tour of Japan in one go!
Great day tour of Kyoto with a great guide!
Saw some great places and took some good photos and got to each a lot more easily than if we'd have been getting transport ourselves!
Well worth it and Madoka is highly recommended.
