My name is Katerina Dize. I was born in Athens where I attended school and spent my early childhood. I then moved to the province of Argolis, located at the eastern tip of Peloponnese. The Peloponnesian origin of my family is one of the main reasons I love and feel deeply connected to this region.
I graduated from the School of Tourist Guides in 2000 and I am since then a licensed Tourist Guide. I have been working at the area for 12 years now guiding individuals, small and larger numbered groups for one-day excursions or multi-day trips. The province of Argolis and the region of Peloponnese in general, has become the centre of historical interest for thousand of visitors due to its rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Archeological sites, such as Mycenae, the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus,Ancient Corinth are worth visiting.
The region can offer alternative forms of tourism, such as agrotourism. The combination of natural beauty, the local cuisine, customs and traditions, and centuries of history makes the area even more interesting and can fully satisfy even the most demanding visitor. Discover the local wineries, taste the olive oil and cheese products, visit a pottery factory, and the Byzantine monasteries and churches, experience a sailing day in the crystal-clear waters of the Argolic Gulf.
Given the opportunity, no matter the age or special interests, I will make this guiding tour a memorable and rewarding experience.
Thank you and I am looking forward to meeting you.
