Guide profile:

See New York City with a native son. Harvey Paul Davidson was born and raised in Brooklyn and attended its public schools and colleges. While in high school, he worked part-time as a messenger and learned the city streets and ins and outs of Manhattan’s neighborhoods. Later work assignments made him equally familiar with the Bronx, Queens and Staten Island.

Now, as a licensed New York City Sightseeing Guide and a member of the Guides Associaition of New York City (GANYC), he can make your visit a memorable event. His background includes being a meeting and event planner for leading organizations, including a major international news magazine, and he's also experienced in tourism sales and marketing. In addition, Davidson has a Master's degree in Tourism. This combination is a value added asset for visitors in getting to know the background and reasoning as to why certain things are the way they are and how to go about seeing NYC in an enjoyable way.

From “Ground Zero” to the top of the Empire State Building, Coney Island to the Bronx Zoo, the "Jazz Trail" in Queens to taking the Staten Island Ferry or visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Harvey’s Ad Hoc Committee can be the tour guide for you. So, whether you are one person or a group, interested in attractions, theater, restaurants and shopping, or just wanting to enjoy and make the most of your visit, contact Harvey to be your guide.
