We (two US couples) LOVED our time with Gregorio. We couldn't recommend him more highly. When he met us at our hotel, he cleverly guided us through the old section of Barcelona before introducing us to Sagrada Familia, Park Guell and Gaudi houses. He set the atmosphere of wonder and delight and then captivated us with information, historical and current. We could easily have spent another 4 hours together.Gregorio was our introduction to a 10 day biking tour of Spain but he remains the highlight.

Tour guide services/sample itinerary:

BARCELONA HIGHLIGHTS TOUR

1.The church of Sagrada Familia (designed by Gaudi 1852-1926)

2. The historic Gothic Quarter

3. The Maritime Façade

4. Montjuic, the hill that overlooks the city with most of the Oympic facilities.

We begin the tour looking at the outside of the Sagrada Familia. Construction that began in 1882 and still continues today. On the tour you will discover why it was built and the chronology of its construction including details of what has already been built and what has yet to be completed.

We leave the Sagrada Familia and cross the ‘extension’ of the city, designed in a grid, and go towards the historical centre where the Romans first settled 2000 years ago. We stroll along the narrow labyrinth of streets taking in the gothic style of the cathedral and other beautiful religious and civil buildings. A few minutes from the Gothic Quarter we come to the most famous street in Barcelona, Las Ramblas, with its Opera House and walk down to the Christopher Columbus monument and the old port that was radically transformed by the 1992 Olympic Games.

We finish the tour at Montjuic mountain. Home to most of the facilities for the 1992 Olympics, together with builidings and atractions from an International Exhibition held in 1929. Montjuic also provides us with amazing panoramic views over the whole of the city.

Toured la Sagrada Familia with 13 family members, kind of like herding cats, but Gregorio was wonderful in dealing with us! He is a real wealth of knowledge, and kept up a nice pace, answering all of our questions with lots of enthusiasm. Most respectful, courteous person that we've met so far!

Tour Guide Comment: Hi Emily and family, Well, with so many young people I really expected the tour to be as you say, but I was happily surprised that they really pay attention, I think this was more because they really are well educated than for my capacity to atract their attention. Anyways the tour was very reconforting for me, Thank you very much!

Gregorio is the best tour guide in the world. Our family had the opportunity to be in Barcelona for a day. Gregorio made the best of our limited time. He arranged for transportation when needed and the rest we did walking. He reserved tickets for major tourist attractions. My four kids ages 17, 13, 10 and 10 all, agree that the fact that Barcelona was everyones favorite city on our trip was because we saw it with Gregorio. He is knowledgable, loves people and is very friendly!

Gregorio was the best guide ever. We had come from 24 days of touring on Princess. He planned tours even better than we had asked. We had 4 couples with varying interests and walking ability. I was a hero for finding him. He was so professional, knew every fact and was very fun to be with. We all would highly recommend him.

We asked Gregorio to organise a personal guided tour of the main sights of Barcelona and he did an amazing job! He is very polite and knowledgeable; the tour wasn't overwhelmingly informative as he cleverly combined historical facts with lots of curiosities about the Barcelona lifestyle. He is fluent in English. We therefore strongly recommend him if you want to live a very enjoyable tour of the city's landmarks.

My wife and I spent 2 days with Gregorio touring Barcelona in Sept. 2012. A wonderful, enriching experience as he focused on not only the historic detail - but also the cultural impact and local life styles as well. Great experience. Would highly recommend him.

Tour Guide Comment: Hi Art and Diana, Your comments are very encouraging. Just the fact that you remember me after these months also makes me very happy. Best wishes, Gregorio

A wonderful guide with great knowledge of Gaudi's buildings. Enjoyed the tour which also included the Gothic Quarter and a stroll along Las Rambles. Gregorio answered our questions and we couldn't ask for a more comfortable and friendly person as a guide. Highly recommend.

Tour Guide Comment: Thank you Victoria, I really appreciatte your comments, I hope you enjoyed also in your cruise. Yours, Gregorio

We had a wonderful time in Spain. Thank you for being such a friendly, informative guide. The restaurant you suggested for lunch was outstanding!! We were treated very well, and the owner personally presented the paella and served us!! We saw many great cities on our cruise and we successfully drove our way through the countryside from Seville to Madrid. Again, thanks for being so easy to work with both before and during our visit.
