Hello! My name is Estela and I was born in Alicante (Spain). I became a guide because I love sharing my knowledge and experiences and I also appreciate very much meeting people who come from different parts of the world.

Alicante is a welcoming human size coastal city, its inhabitants are cheerful and it is easy to enjoy the weather or its delicious foodstuffs.

But, would you like to know a bit more about this millennial city, its Moorish legacy or the consequences of the Christian conquest? Definitely, you should not go back home without having seen the "cara del moro" (a face sculpted by nature on the rocky hill Benacantil).

Not far away you can enjoy other gems of this Mediterranean culture, like the Palm grove in Elche (20 km away) declared by the UNESCO as World Heritage in 2000, or Tabarca Island, where a village was created in the 18th century to settle a community of fishermen that had just been rescued from the pirates.

This city has many things to offer, from museums, monuments and hidden picturesque quarters to wine bars, so let me know about your interests and I will tailor the tour for you.

It is important that you feel like at home. It would be great to make the best of your experience: get to know the emblems of our patrimony and also to taste life in our streets.

My academic background has involved translation, languages and communication, art and history.
