Reviews of this tour – by clients who booked!
I had a fantastic couple days touring Istanbul with Dilek during an extended business trip layover - she is both highly knowledgeable ( which I appreciated being a bit of a history & geography geek) but also very fun to hang out with and talk about current affairs or whatever. I strongly recommend her - and am taking my own advice as I have requested her services again when I return with my family.
We have a good time with Dilek. She is a wonderful tour guide.
We arrived at 8am in Istanbul by the time we got out from the airport to the hotel she met us at the hotel at 11am.
We told her what we wanted to see and try local speciality. She gave us a good guide on food and sights that we liked. She also showed us the off path for food and sights and passage which is hidden in the alleyways.
Walking with her saved us time for queuing for a tickets at each sights.
Dilek is very nice and friendly.
She knew very well about Istanbul History.
She brought to a very good Kebab restaurant.
However Istanbul is too big for 1 day tour.
If I have a chance to come to Istanbul again, I will surely ask her to lead and tell me more about this beautiful and charming city.
Dear Dilek, thank you so much for the tour! I enjoyed it very much!!!
You not only taught me general things about Ottoman and Turkish history, but also showed me funny details (I'll never forget the carved cat in the pillar in the Haghia Sophia! ;-)
thank you also for answering so patiently all my questions about Turkish society.
I hope we can meet when I come back to Turkey!
