Diana

Guide profile:

Dear friends,

This is Diana, a licensed English tour guide with over 7 years experience. I am still enthusiastic to meet friends from all over the world, just like a Chinese saying, “Fate (yuan fen) brings people together from a faraway place. ” I have great passion to show you around the city from my perspectives. With my education background of tourism English in the university, my abundant experiences and my passion on the guiding, most customers quite enjoy the tour under my guidance. They describe me open-minded, friendly and quick in response. I am exactly what they said and perhaps more good personalities :-)

During my spare time, I love travel, dancing and gathering with friends. Travelling is really wonderful, and being your tour guide is also my hobby.

Look forward to seeing you in China. :-)

Best regards,

Diana

Diana was helpful and responsive via email before the trip. The guide in Shanghai, Emily, was everything you could ask for in a tour guide. Informative, helpful, patient, and good company! My only critique is that the price of the tour was higher than what was displayed on the website. However, still worth the price.

Diana has been extremely helpful in organizing our tours in Xian, Beijing and other places during our visit to China.

We visited Xi'an over Golden Week (National Day holidays), which requires patience and bravery due to the vacationing crowds and traffic. Diana and her driver knew all the tricks to get past traffic to Lintong / Terracotta warriors and Hanyanling, and through ticket lines / crowds. Our second day included Shaanxi Prov. Museum (do first - traffic flow) and Big Wild Goose Pagoda, central attractions, and City Wall. EXCELLENT guiding and language skills. Timely; good advice and food. We loved her!!

Hello Dear Diana.

I want to thank you for being guide and a friend at my first ever trip to China. As a single traveller with a tight timeframe to se all things at my list it is for sure that could have not done it without you.

Had a wonderful time and you took great care of me and by the way the vegetarian restaurant we went it was the best food I had at whole trip. :)

Great memories and will remember you.

love and hugs.

Diana was fantastic. Punctual, polite and with great English. She was very knowledgeable about all and everything. She was great in finding quick ways into places and beating the crowds, which as we visited during a bank holiday weekend was invaluable. She can push to the front like a pro! We had our two kids with us and she was very patient and encouraged them to try their mandarin out. I would highly recommend her and her very patient driver! Thank you Diana.

From the first contact, Diana was polite, efficient and extremely patient with all the questions and changes to itinerary - not easy as there were 16 of us! Everything ran smoothly and the guides arranged by Diana were informative and friendly whilst the bus was always on time. The most amazing thing about Diana was even after our last tour, she booked transfers, hotel and a tour within an hour of contact due to a last minute emergency change to schedule. Thank you. Highly recommended!

I was travelling to Xi’an with my customer Alex after conducting the business in Hong Kong. We had only one full day in Xi’an. Diana helped us visit the most important sights in one day, the Terra Cotta Warriors, City Wall and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It was like spending the day with a local friend. She was really knowledgeable and professional as a tour guide. We are all foodies. The restaurants recommended by her is superb.

We recommend Diana without hesitation and will recommend her to our f

Having a guide and translator is indispensable in China. My guides in Zhengzhou and Xi'an were professional and always so helpful and accommodating. I could not possibly have seen and experienced so many wonderful events and locations without their help. In addition to showing me sights and giving historical perspectives, they also offer helpful traveling hints to make my time in China safer and more productive. My guides were Cindy in Xi'an and Doris in Zhengzhou. Many thanks! Steve

Phoenix Fan was an excellent and professional guide. She is very fluent in English and knowledgeable about Xian. We learnt a lot about the place with her.

Phoenix is very pleasant and always has a nice smile on her face. Best of all, she never pressed us to do souvenir shopping. We could really do whatever we fancy with her assistant.

Diana provided me and my family a wonderful experience while visiting Xi'An China. No only did she organize everything according to our requests, she also added personal touches that only a local would know.

My luggage got lost on the airplane and we decided we wanted to change hotels. She found us a new hotel, contacted the airline on my behalf and had the missing luggage delivered to our new hotel all while we were out enjoying the sites.

Thank you Diana for a great tour.

Highly recommen

Our one day side trip from Beijing to Xian to see the Terracotta Warriors was handled superbly by Diana. Our communications before and during the trip were handled expertly. We were on a short time schedule so she tailor made our day trip to fit perfectly. Picked up at airport and delivered back with plenty of time to spare. Good English skills and enjoyed our time with her.

Diana was awesome! We have a 5-year-old boy who LOVES to ask questions, and she was so good with him. She got down to his level and talked directly to him, answered his questions, and even asked him questions back. He still talks about the Terracotta Warriors Museum, and he remembers a lot of what he learned. She was great, very easy to understand, and kind. At the end of the day, both of my sons said they love her!

Diana provided a great tour of Xian. She was very knowledgeable of all of the sights we visited (Terracotta Wariors, City Wall and Pagoda) and area in general and ensured any questions that I had were answered. She kept a good pace so we were able to cover alot of ground in a limited amount of time. She was very accomodating, willing to stop and shop and made the most of my time there. She is comfortable to be with and I would recommend Diana without hesitation.

Diana was our guide for our trip to terracotta museum and Banpo museum. She is very warm and personable and tries to engage with my 2 teenagers. We enjoyed our trip. She gave good recommendations on places to dine.

Tour Guide Comment: Glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip under my guidance. Thanks for your good words. : )

Diana didn`t have time but organized Emily to be my tour guide. It was a great day and I saw a lot of Shanghai. Would book her again if I`ll ever come back. She also had a lot of tipps and information and organized an airport shuttle for me. Thank you Emily for this great experience!

As well as the usual tourist sites I wanted somethings a bit different from my trip to Xian. We exchanged emails and we agreed a program which Diana arranged.

Diana is very well informed, speaks excellent English and everything went well on my tour. I will use her again when I come back to Xian.

In Beijing, I Aurora was our tour guide. She is delightful young lady. This was a private tour for a group of us arriving early for a 2 week Viking tour. We wanted to see additional sights.A van was required for 12. I had a list of places to tour and Aurora worked with us, making suggestions for additons and deletions. All of us were very pleased with her and the schedule. 1 suggestion: have a microphone available for use on the van to improve communication.

Diana wasn't available for my trip, but she was extremely helpful in finding another great tour guide (Aurora) to lead our tour.

Diana was our guide in Xian. She was very knowledgable in the history of the city and filled us in on background information of the places we visited. Her English is very good and we had no trouble communicating. She was also very punctual and made sure we were able to visit all the sights on our itinerary and make it back to the airport in time for our flight. In the downtown area, she also recommended local favorite foods we should try and helped us to order. We had a great experience!

Diana was a fantastic guide for us during our visit in June. She was friendly, easy to communicate with and knowledgable about all the sights. We have recommended her to many others, and in fact booked her again for other family members. Thanks Diana!

We used Diana to be our guide in Xian. She's clever, friendly and speaks good English. She was on time (rare in China) and gave us detailed introduction on each site and made our trip more interesting. She fixed a nice guy with comfortable car to be our driver, he was opening the car door for us every time we stopped somewhere. We felt good with them, so I think tips we gave them were well-earned. I would use her service again and warmly recommend to others.

Diana took us on a whistle stop tour of many of Xi'an's sights on a wet, drizzly day in November.

She tailored the programme on the fly to fit with our needs and helped us forget the weather.

Definitely recommended.

Our trip to Xi'an and visiting the Terra Cotta Warriors was supposed to be a very special day, however, circumstances have made it quite unpleasant. Xi'an is a dirty and highly polluted city, even worse than Beijing. The most important place to visit are the Terra Cotta Warriors, and we made that very clear, yet our time there was cut short, we were pushed through without time to enjoy and I regret that very much. Booking a tour guide is very useful, but you are also at their mercy all day.

Tour Guide Comment: Everything went pretty well and you were satisfied with the service by then. We spent around 3hs for the warriors, travelling at your pace, also accomplished the highlights in the city. We did not influenced by celebrity visit on that day. If you dislike the city, due to the air pollution, that was not my fault.
