Andrea Arcieri Private tour guide in Rome - Italy

Andrea Arcieri

Guide profile:

Before being a tour guide (Rome and its surroundings), I am an art historian. My interest in the Roman cultural heritage led me to deepen various aspects af the art of my city with particular reference back to the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque era.

I completed my university career studying a XVII century "tourist guide" of Rome entitled Il Viaggio per Roma (The journey in Rome) and written by a learned connoisseur named Giulio Mancini who was, among other things, the personal physician of Pope Urban VIII Barberini.

I have been working as a tour guide for many years and I gladly share my passion and my knowledge to whoever want to discover Rome!
