What a wonderful experience had with Aki in Kyoto today. The 3 of us had a wonderful time as Aki provided us with first-hand knowledge of the many sights of Kyoto and we spent the minimum of time traveling to each attaction, which included Kiyomisu Dera temple, Fushima Inari Shrine,Ginkokuji Temple,Nishiki Market, and many, many great samples of Kyoto`s delicious treats. We most highly recommend her for any visit. Aloha to Aki!

Our family of four did a bike tour of Kyoto with Akie. It is a great way to tour Kyoto and lots of fun Akie is a terrific guide -- well organized, knowledgeable, patient and pleasant. We highly recommend Akie!

I took my 9,7 and 4 year to Kyoto. Akie was a wonderful tour guide for my family. As a mother of three children also, she was patient and kind. She knew the right tour venues to suggest and the kids and I had a wonderful time experiencing Kyoto. We mingled traditional sight seeing with playing in a local river to cool off and going to Eiga-mura, the Japanese version of Universal Studios without the rides! She was lovely. My oldest daughter still emails her!! Thank you again Aki.

We did the bike tour of Kyoto, it was the highlight of our trip. Our guide was very friendly and made great suggestions geared to our needs. Her English was very good and she was very knowledgable. We rode bikes through the bamboo forest and were in time for monkey feeding.

Akie is lovely. She took us to parts of Kyoto we would never have found by ourselves. She helped us find gluten free food for my daughter (no mean feat) and she took us around Osaka. We covered a lot of ground in a fairly short period of time. We would highly recommend her.

Tour Guide Comment: Thank you very much, Jennifer. It was great meeting you and your family.I will be glad if I could inspire your daughter's Japanese study.Hope to see you all in near future again.Aki

Aki was absolutely lovely! Very energetic, kind and had a great sense of humour. She's very flexible with the tour (my husband and i aren't morning people so wanted to start as late as possible!) and we had plenty of time at all of the places we saw so never felt rushed. Most importantly to me, she responds to emails promptly which meant i had all my questions answered before i even made the booking. Go with Aki if you want to have a relaxed and fun tour of Kyoto :)

Tour Guide Comment: Thank you very much,Fiona.you are the one of the lovliest couples and great travelers I 've ever had!I am really happy you had a good time in Japan.Hope to see you in Japan or Australia!Aki

Akie met us promptly at our hotel and we went to the castle which was very interesting and then had lunch in a small family run 'fast food' (fried vegetable sticks) which we very much enjoyed. the walk around the area was fascinating giving us an insight into modern Japanese culture. Akie also directed us to a noodle restaurant for our evening meal which was very delicious and full of character.
