I am Zafer, from Cappadocia and I run my own small tour company here and guiding. I have travelled all around Turkey and some countries around the world. Mostly to Europe, East Asia and neighbor countries.

My interests are traveling and walking, trekking and mountain biking in my area. Once a month, my friends and I go for 'moon walking'. That is walking in the night by the light of the moon. I love to take photographs of the stunning scenery as I go.

Recently I have developed an interest in the cultural and religious history of my area because of its importance as a meeting point of several religions. I have been reading many books on the area and would love to share this knowledge with visitors.

I started 25 years ago to work in tourism and have knowledge about hotels, tours and travel related services. I do work as a tour guide for more than 17 years and tour itinerary planner for more than 10 years.

The advantage of being a licensed tour guide for many touristy areas gives me to design itineraries not only for my area also for other areas which are connected to Cappadocia. I do speak English, Japanese and German.
