Vivie was a wonderful guide in Beijing. We spent three days touring with her and she did a terrific job of organizing our travels and helping us see the highlights of the area. She was professional, well-informed, spoke English well and made our days fun, informative and memorable. She has her own car and is a careful driver. I would highly recommend her for anyone seeking a tour guide in Beijing.

We had fantastic experiences - Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven, Forbidden City, the Great Wall, etc. We really felt Vivie tried to give us the ‘real’ Beijing, offering lots of knowledge and insights. She readily accepted our requests. Vivie is a bright, personable young woman, with excellent English, a lovely nature and humour. She was reliable, punctual and very knowledgeable. We felt very confident and happy in her hands. We had a wonderful two days and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

Vivie is the best possible choice for anyone visiting her area of China. You can pay less for other guides and most likely you will see less, learn less and have a less than stellar experience. With Vivie you get far more of a person than you could put a price on and an experience vastly more than you pay for. I would gladly give a reference for Vivie if she asked and look forward to seeing he on my next trip to China.

Vivie was fantastic! We only had eight hours with her on a layover in Beijing and she made every second count :) She was organized, friendly and knowledgeable. She really listens to your wants and makes as much happen as she can. Our day in Beijing would not have been the same without her. We would hire her again in a second. Vivie was fantastic! She was very accomodating and flexible with our schedule. I live in China and my wife and youngest child, 17 months, came for a visit. We had Vivie for two full days and saw so many wonderful things. The best thing was how good Vivie was with our son. He was not handling the time change very well and was difficult to manage but Vivie helped out more than we could have ever asked. I highly recommend using Vivie. And please, just call her, she loves the personal touch.

Vivie was fantastic!!! She was very responsive from the first contact, wanted to be certain that we saw what was important to us, tailored the day as we went along to see everything, was very knowledgable and informative. It was my good fortune to book Vivie Pan for 3 October days. A more charming and helpful guide I'd be hard pressed to find. Warm, inviting, effervescent and positive were the emotions Vivie projected through the booking, making my first 3 days in China a delight. Easily this skilled aide helped establish the basics I needed for business. As a perfect hostess Mrs. Pan welcomed a last minute addition and escorted the pair of us to notable sites. This guide is one of China's treasures.

Vivie is a great guide and my wife, our two daughters aged 10 and 8 years old and I had a wonderful time in Beijing in August 2011 thanks to her. I can not express how good and knowledgeable Vivie is. We hired her and her car for two days, she took us to Mutinya Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Forbidden City and the old Hutongs. Vivie speaks great English and offers some great ideas, listen to her and take her hints. She took my wife and mates wife shopping to the Pearl Market and they all had a great time. Vivie is the perfect tour guide in every respect. Reading her reviews, I was confident she would be very good. But she was so much more. Touring Beijing with Vivie was like being shown a foreign city by a good friend/relative. She is so knowledgeable about the history of the sites, culture & Beijing in general. She was genuinely excited about sharing Beijing with us, and made sure we experienced the best of it in the 3 days we had. I recommend her without a single reservation. Love Vivie!

Where I start to describe Vivie? I choose Vivie from Our Explorer at the last minute as my wife and I wanted to take a trip to the Great Wall,etc. I chose correct !!! Vivie took to my wife and I as a friend, very knowledgeable and knows Beijing very well. As well as the wall we visited the Olympic site, had Peking Duck lunch and took a trip to a porcelain museum. Vivie was just awesome. Very easy going and gentle, she made our short one-day visit to Beijing memorable. We got to visit all we wanted in just one day and still enjoyed a wonderful typical Peking Duck for lunch. We also had the luck of enjoying a pleasant afternoon in Mutianyiu Great Wall absolutely empty and quiet, no tourists!! Perfect tour guide and perfect experience. My wife and I are from the United States both of us are in the 70's. We used Vivie to pick us up and deliver us to the aiport as well as two days of touring in and around Beijing. She has a new car and is a fine driver as well as an accomplished guide. She is kind, honest, thoughtfull and punctual. I would not hesitate to use her again or in recommending her to others.
