Sometimes you send in the pinch hitter who winds up winning the game for you.That was our experience in Tunis with a charming, beautiful & intelligent young woman.Taha arranged his colleague Manel Abdallah to conduct our tour.Her knowledge of country, culture along with impeccable English & ebullient personality imposed all four of us to embrace the 4 hours,wishing we had time for more.My wife’s use of a mobility scooter posed no obstacle to our courteous driver Salaam & gracious guide Manel.

Taha was ill and Nolla was the replacement he selected. She was terrific. Very knowledgeable, very sweet and friendly. I hope Taha has recovered completely. As you (Dave) indicated, he is extremely reliable: answered the telephone when we called regarding the pickup place and telephoned Nolla just before the tour was over to speak with us and ask how it had gone. Overall, and excellent experience with Our Explorer. We certainly will recommend you to friends and relatives.

I found your company on the internet and read good things from other customers. I was very pleased with the service. You planned a great tour of Tunis, including all entry fees and lunch. No surprises. The guide and driver were excellent and made our stay very enjoyable. Your response to any inquiries prior to our visit was prompt and courteous. Thanks for sharing Tunisia with us.

Guide adequate. She knew her history but her english wasn't clear. Looked for guide after passport control. Couldn't find them. I followed directions. Called office & they told me to go to same place. No guide. Called again & told to go- 1,000 yds to rt instead of 200 yds to left. After an hour in heat found guide outside gate who was there since 7 am. Our pickup was for 9 am. We connected @ 9:50 am. We were outside since 8:45 am. Still enjoyed the tour. Driver helpful & safe. LM

Unfortunately of all the guides we hired on this last trip, we were the least satisfied by Taha. Although he could be personable at times, he spent a large portion of our day using his cell phone and did not engage enough with us.

For some reason or another, unfortunately Taha nor any other tour guide successfully met with me as required. I did get a voicemail later in the day but was too late by then as the cruise ship departed late the same day of arrival. Therefore I cannot rate this tour guide higher than the minimum of 1. Bea N.
