My name is Shane Gouldie and i am a guide specializing in tours of Johannesburg where I introduce you to the people of South Africa. Tours to Soweto and surrounding areas of Johannesburg and Pretoria give you a wonderful introduction to the friendly and very accommodating customs and friendly people. The tour can also include the very interesting APARTHEID Museum and Mandela House.
I also do a number of specialized tours that accommodate your specific requests like, Sun City, Pilansberg Game Reserve and the Kruger Park {THE BIG 5}, Pretoria~the Capital where you can have a traditional meal and see all the beautiful architecture of the Union Buildings and many more interesting sites, etc etc
There is also trips to other parts of South Africa like Cape Town and Durban and the very popular river rafting on the Orange River.

Shane has a great depth of knowledge of the Gauteng region and tailors your tour to your individual needs. Be sure to request a tour of Thimbesa township. You will feel very secure and welcomed, but will see a true part of SA. Soweto has started to move upscale.

Excellent tour guide....great communication! Shane went out of his way to make sure our family was well taken care of. We had a short amount of time to tour while on a layover and he made the most out of it!

We were only in Johannesburg for a day and asked Shane to take us off the beaten path and show us a side of the city that tourists would not normally see. He happily obliged and we were able to experience parts of the city and townships that might normally be off limits to visitors. Shane is extremely knowledgeable and informative and an all round great bloke. He made sure we always felt safe and most importantly had fun and came away with good memories of our short stay. Highly recommended!

Shane was a terrific guide and gave us a colorful tour of Johannesburg... Soweto, Mandella's house, The Apartheid Museum, the World Cup Soccer Stadium, etc. We learned alot!
