Unbelievable. So efficient, friendly and accommodating. Every detail, including a hand written note in Japanese to make sure our taxi driver got us back to our ship. Best guide that I and five others have ever had. If you ever need a guide in Kyoto don't chose anyone else. Did I say she was great! The tour and Satoko will never be forgotten. I could go on and on but only a few characters remain. Oh, and the shopping. She was so patient and helpful with the ladies.....thanks Satoko.

I found myself with travel plans changed last minute and needed someone to help me and my two sons in Kyoto and Osaka. Satoko was great and accommodating; she was great at helping us get from the train station to our hotel as well as with the most fitting tailored tours. My family and I were very happy to have Miss Satoko as our guide for two days just before Christmas 2013. She speaks very good English and was very prompt to meet us at our hotel. She was very patience with us and showed us many interesting and beautiful places in Osaka and Kyoto. She also recommend us very good food which we enjoyed very much. Satoko was just wonderful!! She was on time (like all japenese people are) meeting us at our ryokan to begin our super fun filled...sights filled day. She went over and above the "call of duty". She did not mind that we were "zig-zagging" from place to place (north, south, east, west of kyoto) not even following a decent itinerary. She brought us to beautiful places. Satoko speaks good english and is very accommodating. She is the best!

We enjoyed our tour in Kyoto very much. Satoko was very prompt and patient with us (2 families with 3 kids) with all our stops, photo op and eating. She also helped us get our room reservation at Fraser Residence which was full each time we attempt to do it online.

Very patient and prompt with our email exchanges. All our questions were answered before the trip and she exceeded our expectations :) It would be difficult to do Kyoto in 1 day if we were to do it ourselves. Sayonara! Till next time

Ms. Kuroda is a friendly and professional tour guide. She is very flexible and accommodated our family diverse interests. She had wonderful recommendations for us in Osaka and Hakone Park. Satoko is an excellent guide! She is extremely friendly and helpful, and was very accommodating of our tour group which had a wheelchair-bound elderly. She even went the extra mile to explore and plan in advance wheelchair-friendly routes for our tour, and made excellent food recommendations. Her explanations about the places we visited were clear, and she clearly knew a lot about the places we visited. She was our best guide during our trip, and we definitely recommend her! :)

Satoko is friendly and funny - although she has difficulty understanding humor if it involves a play on words. Her command of English in providing information as a guide is excellent. Provides historical as well as cultural information about what you are seeing. She knows where to shop - we loved the "Happiness" store in the Higashiyama area of Kyoto. Her daily rate is a BARGAIN - we spent the weekend with her.

We had a most enjoyable day with Satoko. She was a delightful and helpful host. We saw a great deal of Kyoto in a short time, while feeling we had a relaxing day. Travelling about on public transport was a great way to see the local people - it would have been impossible without a knowledgeable local guide. We were also able to enjoy an excellent but simple lunch in a small restaurant with no other westerner's present. Satoko was more of a friend showing her city than a professional tour guide.

Satoko is an amazing guide! We were a group of 21 and she helped us so much not only on the day she was guiding us, but other days too. For example, she helped us get tickets for a Hanshin Tigers game as well as the Kamogawa Odori. The seats were great for both events. Also, she helped us organize our entire visit to Arashiyama, reserving both lunch and dinner, and providing such clear instructions on everything. On the day she was with us, everything was beautifully thought out and done!

Satoko is a wonderful tour guide! We booked Satoko tours of the Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka area while visiting Japan for six days. Touring with Satoko was the highlight of our trip! Satoko guided my mate & I around Kyoto for a few hours. In those few hours, she took us to the Golden Palace, which as epic in its beauty. Then to the Silver Palace, which had beautiful grounds & gardens around, a quick stop at the Philosophers Path then the highlight at Arashiyama. Such a pleasure to be with, her knowledge of history of each building/site/temple etc and her patience with my photos is second to none! I highly reccommend her!

We had a very good tour weekend with Satoko. She met us at our hotel on both mornings and we spent the entire day each day going to temples, shrines and many other points of interest. She picked out very interesting local restaurants and even stopped at a store where chopsticks can be engraved with one's name. We enjoyed the tour very much.

Our April 2-3,2012 tour of Kyoto with Satoko was very enjoyable. Satoko was a very accommodating guide and provided lots of information about the sites we visited. Although it rained on April 3 during our visit to Kiyumizu Temple, we still felt lucky since they were celebrating a water festival and we were able to witness a temple ceremony with a dragon dance! We enjoyed meeting Satoko but the tour she provided was a little too disorganized. We probably spent half our time on mass transit. Kyoto has tons of temples and shrines which are in similiar but the settings and gardens set them apart. We enjoyed the gardens the most and would have liked more strolling .

Tour Guide Comment: sorry, but I'm afraid misunderstanding, cuz we enjoyed strolling three famous/secret sites as you requested and said really awesome. Transportations, no other way for temples, 18km away for each, and you asked ATM, coin laundry, Shinkansen ticket, unexpectedly, so needed to drop in station on the way instead of more strol. felt happy to help though
