Satoko is an excellent guide and not only took us on a wonderful tour of the main sights but gave us great advice about what to do for our remaining days in Kyoto. She is friendly, knowlegeable and takes lovely photos. We travelled with our 2 daughters aged 7 and 10 and they loved the trip too. I would recommend Satoko to anyone.

- December 2011 Satoko guided my mate & I around Kyoto for a few hours. In those few hours, she took us to the Golden Palace, which as epic in its beauty. Then to the Silver Palace, which had beautiful grounds & gardens around, a quick stop at the Philosophers Path then the highlight at Arashiyama. Such a pleasure to be with, her knowledge of history of each building/site/temple etc and her patience with my photos is second to none! I highly reccommend her!

Satoko is a truly awesome guide! I toured around kyoto with her for 2 days and she showed me various interesting sights including the popular ones and also off the beaten track ones. She is friendly with good sense of humor and speaks fluent English. She is also knowledgeable and explained the history of the temples/historcal sites and Japanese culture very well. My trip to Kyoto was truly memorable and I would highly recommend her service.

Satoko San is a very professional tour guide and will introduce the place to us about the history and places of interesting. I enjoy her companionship and she has done a good job show us around in Kyoto ! And she can speak english very well, i was worried that like most japanese that could not speak english very well, but her command of english is good, therefore we had a fruitful trip and a wonderful conversation along the trip !

we chose Satoko to be our guide for a day in Kyoto. We had a great time, she met us at the ship terminal and we then made our way on the public train system to Kyoto. Satoko was most knowledgeable, friendly and went out of her way to ensure that our experience was memorable. Her english was excellent and we would highly recommend her services. Satoko was amazing. She kindly prepared our itinerary for the day before we met and made sure that we saw everything on our list the day of our tour. I asked Satoko-san a guide for me and two American friends of mine, first-timers to Kyoto, in early February. She organized one-day tour fully upon request base at reasonable fee. She was knowlegeable and dependable. We enjoyed her English guide and would definitely ask her a guide again for the next time. Thanks for the great photos, Satoko-san!

Satoko was great! She guided me and my family (10 people) for a day at Kyoto. She is very organize and very knowledgable. Satoko speaks good english and she was very helpful throughout the trip. Satoko has a wide knowledge about Kyoto and all other interesting places and was offering any help or information needed already prior to the trip. She was a great help to visit the city. Satoko is very obliging and also flexible regarding schedule (indluding requested changes on a short notice) of the places to visit.

We had a very good tour weekend with Satoko. She met us at our hotel on both mornings and we spent the entire day each day going to temples, shrines and many other points of interest. She picked out very interesting local restaurants and even stopped at a store where chopsticks can be engraved with one's name. We enjoyed the tour very much.

Tour Guide Comment: Happy to hear you enjoyed the tour very much for two days, and very sorry the busy traffic was not a five star situation due to the busiest Sakura week through the year. But great to hear that you liked the restaurants at off the beaten track along with my unique souvenir tips.

Our April 2-3,2012 tour of Kyoto with Satoko was very enjoyable. Satoko was a very accommodating guide and provided lots of information about the sites we visited. Although it rained on April 3 during our visit to Kiyumizu Temple, we still felt lucky since they were celebrating a water festival and we were able to witness a temple ceremony with a dragon dance!
