I am a coptic christian from the upper nile, with a degree in English literature and a diploma in tourism. I have studied archaeology for many years and have been a tour guide in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan for over 6 years. I am listed as one of the top 10 guides in Egypt on the Trip Advisor site. In addition to seeing the ancient sites of Egypt, many of my guests like to see the "real" Egypt. I am happy to take you to the souk and help you haggle with the stall-holders for a real bargain. I will take you to Egyptian coffee houses, where you can sample the Sheesha pipes. I can introduce you to the wonderful wildlife which is all around you in Egypt and I will be happy to introduce you to the Egyptian religions and culture and show you some of our most important religious sites

Romany showed me all the main pyramid sites around Cairo - we had a marvellous time - he picked us up on time in an air conditioned car and took us to each site; His knowledge of all the sites was excellent, and he made them seem very interesting and exciting. His English was very good and he was friendly and courteous throughout the day. He was extremely helpful fending off touts, and helping to make our day a wonderful one - I cannot recommend him highly enough - he is a GREAT tour guide.

Romany Nour our tour guide in Cairo; I would rate as excellent, 5 stars, nothing was too much trouble. he collected the four of us on time from the hotel in the mini van with driver as agreed he guided us through the museum then we visited the sphinx and pyramids he organised lunch and a visit to churches and a mosk. He organised a visit to the light show for us at our request. I would use Romany again and would recommend him to friends.

Our guide in Cairo, Romany was not very good. His English left a lot to be desired and was not what I would call professional in manner and claimed that the 60 dollar price quoted did not include transportation or the driver. Even after giving him a 25 dollar tip above the 55 dollar balance due, he claimed it was not enough! I felt like we we being shaken down by a con-artist. I would not recommend him in any way!
