Welcome to Siem Reap Angkor, Kingdom of Cambodia, a land full of great beauty, and history.

My name is EATH SORATANAK (NAK). I am a licensed tour guide in Siem Reap region and I would be so happy to take you on a tour of Angkor and enjoy a life time experience on the ancient capital of Angkor. In Siem Reap, there is so much to see and they all are so beautiful. We have many ruins and the Tonle Sap Lake which rich of natural resources such as birds, fishes especially the floating village, waterfalls and delicious tropical fruit.

Do you know about Angkor Temple? The one in the list of world heritage site. I know them very well and I want to share with you all that I know about these ancient places in Siem Reap Angkor.

I think everyone should come and visit Cambodia at least once in their life time. Cambodian people are very nice, friendly with beautiful smile, the culture is very interesting, the food and drinks are delicious and the scenery is breathtaking! I had spent one week in Angkor Siem Reap, Cambodia. I came here for the first time with the idea of visiting the famous temples, but I discovered that Cambodia has much more to offer. What the photographs do not show is that the temples are surrounded by beautiful forest and countryside with farmers working in the paddies very much like in the old pictures in the temples. The Cambodian people are hospitable and even after many years of hardship, they still welcome the visitors with friendly smiles. My guide Ratanak Eath had prepared an excellent four day itinerary before I arrived in Siem Reap which I would recommend to anyone who plans to stay for less than a week.

We went to the main temples of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, and adjacent areas. We also went to Kbal Spean, Banteay Srei, Beng Melea, as well as two places on Tonle Sap lake, the floating village at Chong Kneas and Kompong Kleang with its houses on stilts. I enjoyed discovering the culture as much as exploring the monuments. Ratanak took me to meet his family at his home in Dam Dek along the way to Kompong Kleang and we took a photograph together. That added a special memory to my trip.

I only came as a tourist, but I have a feeling that I will return to Cambodia one day.
