We booked Mario on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed! He is knowledgeable, friendly, comfortable with his subject(s) and furthermore; able to bring very old history to life. My teenage daughter was even won over!

I wish we were able to use him again this trip but will certainly make sure to book him when I return.

Mario is an excellent tour guide with excellent English. Walking through ancient Rome with him felt like touring with an old friend, who happened to know everything about the history of the area. He has a great personality and adapted to our style of exploring. He really made the entire tour fascinating, especially for our two teenage daughters.

I cannot recommend Mario highly enough. When we return to Rome, we will be sure to book Mario again to explore other aspects of the city.

Mario was incredible, for our first few days in Rome it was exactely what we wanted. he knew everything about the old city with incredible precision and he was able to answer all of our questions, and we had many. There is no doubt he knows his history, his geography and all of the important spot in Rome.

Mario was an incredible guide. We just returned home from a 10 day trip to Europe. We were in Rome for4 days and spent the first full day with Mario. He was wonderful to work with and very responsive to the needs and requests from our group. Not only did he arrange all the transportation and tour, he made sure that even with some rain and bad weather the experience was still 1st class. I would not hesitate to recommend Mario to my closest friends. He was simply - GREAT!

Mario is, by all means, THE BEST TOUR GUIDE you will find in Rome. We had the privilege to hire Mario for a full day for 9 members of our family. Mario is knowledgable and a teacher, experienced and accomodates to the specific group, serious in al aspects of Rome and the Vatican and yet leaves you with a relaxed feeling during and after the day. Very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Mario had in mind fun things for my kids (age 10 and 13) to see and also could answer any question that I or my already very knowledgable father asked during the trip. A great experience that made touring the Vatican Museums worthwhile, despite the crowds, dreadful physical condition (insufficient air conditioning for thousands of visitors), and inefficient layout of the museums themselves.

Mario was our first private guide and did a great job showing us around the coliseum, forum, and palatine hill. He was friendly and knowledgable and was able to get us through the sites much more efficiently than we could have by ourselves. The entire experience was very relaxing and enjoyable.

We booked our tour with Mario on our first day in Rome. From booking Mario was quick to respond to emails and reliable. He was very informative, it was incredibly interesting and we got so much more out of the sites than if we had visited on our own, particularly the Forum. After spending so much on your trip to Rome it is well worth the investment. Not to mention a great way to skip the queues! It also was a great way to plot everything on the map and made our next 3 days so much easier.

Mario was an excellent guide. We really enjoyed ourselves in Rome & he helped make our short stay extra special. Mario was charming, most knowledgeable & patient & treated us all like guests. The one & a half day itinerary was quite full, but Mario

Mario did a wonderful job for us. We spent two extra days after our cruise and Mario arranged transportation to Rome from the ship and all our activities and transportation while in Rome. We had a group of ten with some of us having spent time in Rome and others were neophytes. Mario worked with us as our group sized changed depending of the attraction. Don't miss out on Rome and don't miss out on Mario showing you a great time in his city.

I have little regrets in life but I sure you wish i started the use private tour guides earlier in my travelling years. Mario is superb and very professional indeed. A winner!!

Tour Guide Comment: Honestly, I've haven't met this client, She booked without any previous contact, and anyway nerver replied to my emails, hence we've nerver made arrangements! I think there is either a mistake o someone did that deliberately but I don't know for wich reason?!??!

Mario was fantastic.

He is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the historice sites in Rome. We would not have been able to see as much as we did without him. He was very detailed in his description of the numerous paintings which gave us a good understanding and made it enjoyable. Mario went the extra mile when he arranged for us to see the Pope at his summer home. The highlight of our trip. I will highly recommend him.
