We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Maria. She lead us through a very informative tour of the Acropolis and Agora and the Acropolis museum. Maria was such a joy, our day in Athens was one of the biggest highlights of our trip. She is so knowledgeable about the art, history and politics. She explained it so well, it was easy to understand. She is so personable, I would definitely recommend her.

Maria is such a wonderful guide. From the very beginning she was deeply committed to making our first trip to Greece a success. She made a tremendous effort to organize a 2 week itinerary and find the best value hotels for us. And we were not disappointed at all with her choices. She even arranged the rental of the car for us. Above all these she definitely made a great difference to our trip with her very warm and pleasant personality, and her deep appreciation of Greek archaeology and history.

Maria arrived on time and anxious to show us the amazing Acropolis and beautiful New Acropolis Museum. She was knowledgeable and professional and at our request, recommended a few restaurants. We tried tow already and they were delicious. We look forward to our tour again on 27 Sept. SJ

Maria is a fantastic guide. My wife and I cannot recommend her enough! We spent a half day with Maria touring the Acropolis and surrounding area. She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We appreciated her candid insights about the historic sights and the Greek culture. She even followed-up after the tour to recommend a few of her favorite restaurants. Thanks again Maria!

Ditto on all the wonderful things that have already been said about Maria. She is wonderful! So sweet. So smart. So pretty. She is engaging and really tried to accommodate us to our needs and interests. We were at the end of a 12 day cruise and were exhausted. She found a perfect cool spot to rest our feed and have a snack. Having lived in Greece all her life you can feel her passion for her country and her knowledge is immense. Loved her! You'll be lucky if she's available. Book her if you can!

Excellent tour. Maria was great and very patient in midst of an Athenian heat wave. She was well informed and brought the ancient world of Athens to life with her vivid stories and knowledge.

Maria was the best tour guide we had on our 12 day Mediterranean cruise. She was very knowledgable & spoke perfect English. She had a firm grasp on history, architecture, politics, art, archeology, and anthropology. She gave us a perfect sampling of Athens culture & people including a tour of the Plaka and a delicious restaurant recommendation. Our mini-bus driver, George was great too. The bus was clean, he spoke English and provided us with cold water. I would highly recommend this tour!

Maria is a gem! 500 characters are not enough. 3 delightful hours with her; like being with a long-lost friend. Unknown Soldier, Botanic Gardens, Zeus Temple, Benaki Museum (Maria's passion for this was clear), Agios Eleftherios church, and more. We found the plants that matched the Corinthian and Ionic columns; we talked history, books, current events, etc. Maria knows facts, stories, theories, artifacts, all the things that make a city come alive. Passionate, enthusiastic, fun! We love her.

Maria is everything hoped for in a guide. We have had guides in the past who want to take command and run the tour their own way. Maria, by contrast, has such a sweet and gentle nature and yet such a compelling command with "story and language." Time just ran by too fast. Our large group with students and adults loved her. She is attractive and engaging. She is open and resourceful. She is fun and wonderfully anecdotal. Loved the way she solicited and responded to questions. First class!

My wife and I spent a wonderful day in Athens with Maria. She was very flexible in taking us to all the sites that we were interested in, and her knowledge of each was fantastic. Maria's English was perfect, and she was a delight to be with. If you want to learn about the history and stories behind what remains today, Maria is a perfect choice!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Maria and recommend her 100%. She immediately made us feel relaxed and welcome as she imparted the knowledge of her city with passion and enthusiasm. She brought the history of the ruins and artefacts of the museum come alive like no guidebook could. Our family loved the tour and we learnt so much. Thank you Maria, 10 out of 10!
