jean took good care of the 4 of us,very detailed on her knowledge of shanghai,suzhou and hangzhou from the sights,history and the foods especially,we highly recommend taking the day trips to both hangzhou and suzhou,shanghai tours in 2 days max.she even booked the ERA acrobat show for us,which was was amazing.thanks jean

Jean was amazingly sweet and comforting. She is very knowledgable about her own city of Shanghai. She knows the history and tells a beautiful story on the tour. She is very accomodating and flexible. I was not feeling too well and need to cut down some tour sites but she worked with me to make sure we got through all that I wanted to. We had a wonderful tradtional lunch and I certainly enjoyed her company! Jean is the way to go!

I was extremely pleased to have had Jean as a tour guide for 2 days. She was knowledgeable, reliable, and seemed to quietly sense our needs as a group and adapt with ease. Jean helped to provide a historical/cultural context to the sites we visited, was well as to Shanghai and China in general. She was great with our kids, and was able to keep them interested by sharing educational information in a manner relevant to children. I would highly recommend Jean without reservation!

Jean packed our day in Shanghai with fascinating sites. She personalized our tour, even researching information in advance. She was adaptable, adding to our itinerary as we expressed interest in learning. We enjoyed peaceful stops, as well, for lunch and a rest in a park. Wow! I have lived in Shanghai for 3 years, and when my wife visited over the New Years holiday, she wanted to see the French Concession. Knowing I knew only enough to get around, I booked Jean for a tour. I learned a great deal about things I already "knew," and quite a bit I had no clue of. We were both impressed by Jean's knowledge, outgoing personality and excellent English. I know quite a few CET 6s and 8s, and Jean's English skills surpass them all! Short notice and a holiday. A++

Our trip to Shanghai was wonderful thanks to Jean. We were impressed with her professionalism and her knowledge of Shanghai's history. We booked her for a full day to go to Zhujiajiao (a water town) followed by a tour of Shanghai. We asked her to show us Old Shanghai the next day and fortunately, she was available to do so. We also really enjoyed our time with her. She is a lovely young lady and both my husband and I would highly recommend her.

If you are looking for a guide in Shanghai then do yourself a favour - book Jean. On a recent vacation to China I had a number of tour guides and Jean was by far the best one. Jean is great because she is flexible, very attentive and great at explaining things. Unlike other guides in China, she is very personable and always puts your interest first. Whilst she may cost a bit more than the other guides I had, she is worth the premium and I would not hesitate using her again. Thanks Jean!

Jean is endlessly patient, helpful, smart, knowledgeable & very humble. Not once did we feel as though we did not want her there by our sides. Needless to say, as an energetic couple Hannah and I got to see an unbelievable amount of wonderful treasures and on our last day as the sun set on Shanghai, Jean took us to one of those mile high buildings at Pudong financial center and we had tea among the clouds and looked out on the amazing city of Shanghai with our new friend jean. A true professional! Jean helped to arrange a five day programme for nine business people from Australia visiting Shanghai. User her deep knowledge of Shanghai and its traffic, she assisted in planning the itinerary including coordination with businesses we visited and airport transfers. Jean's flexibility was refreshing as we changed the itinerary on the fly to suit our needs. Our visit to the Expo and the Port of Shanghai were memorable thanks to Jean's efforts. We spent 1 1/2 days with Jean to see the main sights of Shanghai and to have a knowledgable local to consult with at the tailor's market. It was absolutely fantastic, Jean is very hospitable, kind and has excellent knowledge of the city and its attractions. The tours don't follow a rigid schedule, everything is flexibile and can be adjusted to personal likes and dislikes - which we find great!

We had Jean as a tour guide in Shanghai - it was myself and my two teenage daughters. Jean spoke great English. She came prepared with a terrific itinerary and adjusted to meet our needs. She knew great places to shop and selected very good restaurants. She also knew where the good bathrooms where. I would highly recommend her and would use her again. Excellent on every level! We thoroughly enjoyed Jean Lui as our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, had eveything arranged as we had discussed, was responsive to our suggestions and requests and answered emails promptly. Her English is excellent and she was very personable. Jean went out of her way to secure our Expo tickets, just as a favor. She toured us through Xi'Tang where we saw temples, museums, gardens and still had time for shopping. She also took us by train to Suzhou. We can highly recommend Jean Lui!

We had the good fortune to be guided around the wonderful city of Shanghai by Jean. She met us at the airport, took us to our hotel via Maglev and taxi and gave us enough hints, tips and addresses(in chinese) to get us through our first 2 days until we would meet her for the city tour, it was absolutely fantastic. Jean packed so much into 1 day, her knowledge of the city is astounding. On day 2 she took us to Tongli ;-a fabulous day. Jean is a superb guide.You can't do Shanghai without her. A

We could not be more pleased with our two days with Jean Lui in Shanghai. Jean is just the best! Lots of fun, organized but flexible, a delightful and gentle personality, and a wealth of information about all that we visited. We were especially impressed by Jean's subtle but firm way of dealing with hawkers who tried to accost us and also by her planning and coordination of our activities and transportation. Whenever we completed an activity, our van magically appeared right on time.

We are a family of 7 people ranging from 36 years old to 69, from 3 different continents! As you can imagine, it can be tough to meet all of our varied needs, but Jean not only met all of our needs, but, somehow managed to surpass our expectations! During the 4 days, Jean made sure that everything went smoothly from morning to the time she dropped us back at the hotel. The way she conducted herself was exemplary and should be THE standard for all guides. She was brilliant at anticipating our needs and nothing was too much for her. We were visiting Shanghai for the very first time. Decided to hire Jean as our local guide for 1 day. Turned out to be a wonderful experience! Would not have seen so many places all in one day if we do it on our own or go with group tour. Jean is very nice, mature and friendly. She is very knowledgable about Shanghai. She took us to all the places we wanted to see, teaches us how to use the subway, and even suggested places to eat. Highly recommended.

We were travelling as two families for a one week trip to Shanghai. Jean had everything superbly organised from time of pick up to time of departure. The advantage of using Jean as a tour guide was that all along, all things went very smoothly. We managed to see all of our planned itinerary at also some extra. Jean was conscious of costs and ensured we got best value out of the stay. I would not try to visit a Chinese city without the services of a tour guide in the future.
