We visited Xian last week and were fortunate to have booked Jane as our guide. Me, my wife and 2 kids aged 10 years each enjoyed her spontaneity and bubbling approach. Her knowledge on ancient Chinese history, intricate details on Terracotta warriors/ Banpo etc was impeccable. Between casual conversations, she educated us on Chinese customs. She helped us book a great hotel (Citadines) at a price lower than booking.com... If you are in Xian, the one person you should reach out to is....JANE.

Couldn't have been better! Jane responded quickly to my initial emails and was able to organise our time in Xian to fit in everything we wanted to do. She was waiting at the station to meet us with a name sign and a big smile! She was friendly, fun and informative. Lots of information, but not overwhelming - it was like sightseeing with a friend in their hometown. Cant recommend her highly enough. Best wishes for a great time in Xian!

Awesome! I booked Jane instead of booking the tour guide that came with my Affordable Asia pacakge & so glad I did! One -on-one attention, quick & prompt pick up from airport & off to see the city like 2 old college buddies. Jane & I clicked instantly. Her English is fantastic! She knows more than basic English & American slang. She got all my jokes & she made jokes too. Very knowledgeable about the Terrocotta Soldiers. My tour group didn't even get told 1/2 the information Jane told me.

Jane was our guide in Xi'an and I cannot speak highly enough of her! Jane organised accommodation and transport for us and gave us suggestions of places to visit and eat while we were not with her. Jane was very accommodating, even finding me a local laundry and picking up my clean clothes at the end of the day! Jane was flexible and keen to please, very knowledgeable about Xi'an and happy to share much of her knowledge with us. Jane is a great guide and I wish her every success!

We had a great day with Jane. We were met at the airport by our driver and Jane was waiting for us at the hotel. Jane was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and took us everywhere we wanted to see. We can't wait to do more sight seeing with her tomorrow!

We werewith Janes colleague Ada for 2 days in Xian, all I can say is that she did an absolutley fantastic job in showing us around the city and the supporting sites. The car used was clean and tidy, the driver excellant. Never hurried or rushed between venues, her knowledge and enthusiasm for the tour could not be faulted. Thanks for a great time in Xian. Robert

From the moment hired to create a tour of Xian for me and far after my departure, her responsiveness and thorough nature where top notch. Jean toured our family of four including 2 young boys for a whirlwind day during April 2011. She was a high energy professional with an infectious laugh. Jane is awesome!!! Before touring Xi'an with Jane I had been on many group tours to different cities in China. Group tours leave you feeling hurried and distant from anything real. Jane was my first personal tour guide experience and with her it is much, much different. I felt privileged to be able to roam around Xi'an with her. Jane was pleasant, dependable, and prompt. Her English is excellent and she is interesting to talk with and we enjoyed our conversations with her. She did a great job with time management -- filling our days but not trying to pack in more than was comfortable. Great pacing and also a really nice restaurant choice near the Dayan pagoda. Very satisfied.

Friendly, easy-going, and affable, Jane provided excellent commentary (in very good english) during our 2+ day visit to Xian. She has a good sense of balance and doesn't overwhelm with details. Suggest she meet you at the hotel (we waited on a freeway overpass one day and she was apologetic when late another).
