I am a Blue Badge Guide and has been guiding for 21 years. My passion for travelling and sharing with others about Sabah's wonderful and beautiful eco-nature mountains and beaches as well as its colorful and diverse 32 over ethnic groups landed me in becoming a tourist guide since 1989 (there were only less than 80 guides then) and has never look back. My guests who include normal tourists to very high profile personnel VVIPS such as Ministers, Filming Crews, CEOS have always commented that I have the gift of making stories of people, places and even animals come alive and could make a boring place become interesting which is not surprising as tour guiding apart from being my beloved profession, is also my hobby! With my years of experience in guiding and in management, I am also now a Trainer with Tourism Malaysia for their Mesra Malaysia and Eco Host programs, training tourist guides and frontliners in the tourism industry. I am also the founder of the KK Heritage Walk.

Wonderful! Grace is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Borneo, and booking her as your private tour guide is a much, much better option than going with any of the various tour operators offering much the same itinerary. And of course, Grace is happy to customise to your needs. As a family, the kids loved her ability to point out things and answer questions about traditional life or flora and fauna.

Grace was excellent and I highly recommend her. Her knowledge of KK was exceptional and she was very eager to comply with our every request. Grace was great! We learned so much in one day, various plants and fruits, eco-tourism ideas, diversity in Sabah, history of the area... We were so lucky to see Mt. Kota Kinabalu at end of the rainy day and enjoyed the stories on our way back! :P Thanks from Jean, Ranny and Min.

Grace is a national treasure. She is personable, very knowledgeable regarding the history, flaura and fauna of Sabah. She is passionate about tour guiding and this comes through during your interaction with her. She is enthusiastic energetic and devoted to the tour participants. Our teenage children voted Grace our best guide while in Sabah. An absolute pleasure.

The trip to the rainforests of Mt Kinabalu was very rewarding for us. Grace is an A1 tour guide. She is an excellent history teller (she could recite the history of the island, its geography, its people, and system of governance with lightning speed). Her familiarity with flora and fauna is amazing. Her passion for environmental preservation is genuine. We certainly enjoyed our adventures in Kota Kinablu. Grace was a most gracous guide and we thoroughly enjoyed all the sightseeing that we did with her. She went out of her way to give us the information that she was very knowledgeable and passionate about. She also went out of her way to do the little things that count when you are a foreigner in another country. On a rating basis we have no hesitation in rating Grace 6 out of 5. Grace is a wonderful person with a passion and interest in everything about nature, people, history and politics. She knows how to organize and does her best in every kind of situation. She listen to her costumers requests and make the tour that suits everyone even tours (like mine) that were outside the "normal." She took me too places she hasn;t been before and had such a patient everytime I took up my camera and took pictures of the children in the slum areas. THANK YOU!

Very knowledgeable in all aspects even my hubby was so impressed and keep singing her praises when we are back home, very unlike him to do so coz he read too much. Grace is very friendly and find myself learning alot, it's like taking a science class where i learned all the different plants n flowers and their uses but all within few hours span.

We had a wonderful time with Grace. She is knowledgeable, extremely well organized, fun, and her pride in showing off the beauty of Malysian Borneo comes through so much. She tailored the agenda perfectly for what what we were looking for in a vacation. We would recommend Grace without hesitation to anyone planning a trip to see Kota Kinabalu and the surrounding area. Grace is very knowledgeable and familiar with the locations we went to. The people wherever we went know her and are always very helpful to us. Our first trip to KK was a memorable one. Grace's humuor & casualness put everyone especially the children at ease,
though they were very shy at first. Enjoyed also the interesting 'education' on Eco tourism. Gave us something to think about.
On the whole i would say 5 out of 5. Enjoyed every minute of it, the food ( Aiyo.. the Roti sayur... delicious), the island trip...

Grace is full of enthusiasm and knowledge about the wildlife and cultural makeup of Borneo and she really brought our trip to life. She was very entertaining during the car journeys with plenty of stories and anecdotes about the region! In terms of cost, we felt it was good value for money compared to the organized tours. Grace is an enthusiastic and friendly guide. She is also attentive and takes care of the finer details on our 2-full day tour. She is knowledgeable and sets a good example when it comes to taking care of the environment. I also observed she has good relationships with the vendors whom we met along the tour. Grace admits she talks a lot and she is really in the right profession. She talks almost non stop about everything and her love of her country shines through all the way. She sorted out a mix up about dates and times efficiently and we had a great time. I would recommend Grace to anybody.

I am glad to have hired her as the guide for my One day trip to Mount KK. Throughout the trip, we have learnt a lot about the Eco system and also on the usage of certain flora.

I would have given a 10 star if I could! We totally enjoyed our trip so much! Although it rained on our first night there and also when we were in Kundasang but Grace always do her best to make us enjoy our trip as much as possible and she succeeded! She was very patient with us when we took so much time taking pictures, very accomodating and taught us alot about Sabah. Extremely informative and resourceful!

Grace is really friendly and easy to hang out with. She has an amazing ethic and passion towards saving the environment and heritage of Kota Kinabalu and Sabah. Recommend it strongly!
Would be even better if she carries a map and an iterinary of the tour so visitors know in advance what to expect!
