Gavin toured our family of four to Westminster then some shops, the falling out of the guard, and on to the British Museum. He is a wealth of knowledge from what's where in the museum, to where to stand to see the guards parade best to any fact you might want to know -- and I ask lots of questions. He has a delightful personality, took us to a good lunch restaurant and was great with recommendations for weekend activities (Greenwich) and for dinner restaurants (and how to find them !)

Fascinating walking tours of the City, Chelsea, Kensington, Hampstead, Southwark, Covent Garden, Soho, Docklands, Westmister, St James's, Spitalfields plus thematic tours such as Literary London, Legal London, Da Vinci Code, architectural tours etc.

Out of London, I can show you the best of Windsor, Hampton Court and Oxford by train from London. I can also recommend a vehicle and driver to take us to places such as Stratford upon Avon, Cotswolds, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Bath, Winchester, Canterbury etc. You would need to budget an extra £300-£350 for the car and driver.

Transportation by tour guide:

We will travel like Londoners using the famous red buses, tube or black taxis, but mainly on foot - the best way to experience London.

If you want to travel by car, you will need to arrange this separately - I can recommend companies that provide this service.
