Our guide, Francisco Miro, provided expert local knowledge and planned an excellent day touring the old town of Sitges, the mountain village of Montserrat and the cava cellars of Freixenet. The itinerary allowed time to enjoy each stop, and included lunch at a hilltop vineyard restaurant. We recommend that visitors to Barcelona explore the countryside with Francisco, who also offers complete day tours within the city.

Francisco was the perfect guide for us. We had only one day to see Barcelona. He met us at our hotel at 10 and brought us back at 6. During that time he took us to see all of the important landmarks, gave us a sense of history and, best of all, took some outstanding pictures of us. Since my husband is usually the photographer on our trips, I rarely have any pictures of him, much less us together. Now I have 15 great photos. I recommend Francisco highly. He is a delightful tour guide.

Francisco Miro is an excellent guide. He collected us from our hotel and took us in his car on two days. He showed us Barcelona from Tipidabo to Mont Juic and we learned a lot from him. He speaks very good English and looked after us very well. We loved Barcelona and I would highly recommend Francisco as a good and informative guide and we were thrilled by the photos he took and sent to us.

Francisco was an excellent tour guide. We wanted a tour of the town of Navas, which is not really a popular tourist spot. Francisco researched the town and put together a lovely tour for us. It was exactly what we wanted.

Francisco is very pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging, as well as flexible. And, we were thrilled with the photos that Francisco gave of us. We strongly recommend him to anybody visiting Barcelona. Francisco is a terrific guide and you will NOT be disappointed!!!

We had a group of 12 people that Francisco took on an all day tour of Andorra. He took us to a neat old church up in the top of the mountains with an amazing view then we hiked around a lake followed by lunch and some shopping time in the city center. Not only is he a great tour guide but he's also an excellent photographer and provided us with photos so we will remember our trip forever.

We had a full day of sightseeing with Francisco while in Barcelona on September 1, 2012, prior to boarding our cruise ship. Francisco was energetic, pleasant, and very knowledgeable. Moving about in his private car allowed us to see everything on our list. We walked through the Gotic District along the old cobblestone streets, had lunch at a small cafe that Francisco had discovered near La Sagrada Familia, and shopped for authentic espadrilles. Francisco took photos of us during the day.

Franc was on top of things where our tours were concerned. He was quick with his email responses, and met us at our hotel at our agreed times. We left it in his good judgment to decide which places we needed to see, and experience. We did a walking tour whereby we covered the old areas of Barcelona. Francisco was the BEST! We would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to see the best that Barcelona has to offer. Sending pictures to us that he had taken of my wife and myself was a great surprise and an added touch to his service. His English was excellent. I used Francisco for three days on my recent trip, as well as for airport transportation. We toured the city for two days, and spent the third day outside of Barcelona, visiting a winery and touring the countryside. He was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, and provided a good introduction to BCN.

My family and I booked a four hour tour with Francisco and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Francisco was friendly, polite,informative and had organised a really great tour of Barcelona for us.

He also took some lovely photos of us and very kindly sent them to us via e mail.

We had a very enjoyable day in the wine region thanks to Francisco, firstly visiting the very interesting Freixenet vineyard. Following this, he drove us to Sitges where we had time for lunch and a brief look around. Later in the afternoon we were taken to the Torres winery which contrasted interestingly with Freixenet. It was a well organised and well timed day and a good opportunity to see the countryside (and taste the wines!).
