Ayse was an outstanding guide with a very thorough knowledge of both historical and contemporary Istanbul. She devised a schedule based on our pre-tour input of what we wanted to see, and the schedule worked perfectly in our limited time schedule. Her enthusiasm added to the pleasure of the tour.

Ayse is a first rate tour guide! I visited Istanbul for a professional conference, and only had 1 free day to tour the city. Ayse's knowledge and enthusiasm to share her country's history and culture was energizing and inspiring. Not only for the standard sites everyone must visit, but also neighborhoods and places off the beaten track. She perfectly tailored the day to fit my interests, and even answered questions I had before I arrived. I recommend Ayse without reservation!

First of all, Ayse is a special person. She always is about her client and your needs. She goes WAY BEYOND any guide requirements to make your visit one that you will remember. Our only problem was that we did not allow enough time to spend with her to see the special city she lives in. We cannot think of enough superlatives to adequately describe how very good she is. Seems like family member after three days of guiding. Knowledgable, friendly, fun-loving, humorous, excellent planner. She 'tailored' tour to our exact needs; when needed, made changes. Each day we saw and experienced greater, more beautiful experiences, but here is the thing: Eyse herself was one of our best experiences in Istanbul. Lucky the group that receives her help. Ran out of space to praise her.

I think Ayse was the one who made our visit to Istanbul one of the most enjoyable trips I have ever had. She is very very knowledgeable and adapted to our needs. Ayse is doing a job that she loves. She loves history: Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, and especially Turkish. She gives you 100% effort for 8 hours. Her daily fee is very fair, especially as she pays for transportation (we took 2 cab rides, 1 Metro, 1 Funicular, and 1 Trolley). She even paid for our morning tea break. Istanbul is not an easy city to navigate for the first time visitor, so a guide is more helpful than usual.

It was fantastic to discover the stunning city of Istanbul with Ayse. We visited Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the underground cistern, the Hippodrome as well as the Spice Market. Ayse knew everything (!) about the places. Her English is very good. She can talk high-speed so you definitely get more information for your money :-) She is charming and fun. ´Highly recommendable!

Ayse is probably the best tour guide we've come across in all our travel! She speaks English very well and certainly knows her Istanbul history and culture. We emailed her for a short customized 4 hour tour and she responded immediately. We only wanted to see the underground Cistern, Hippodrome and Hagia Sophia and she was very accommodating. The entire tour was about $30 per person! You can't get any better than that! She even gave us tips on where to eat and how to bargain at the Bazaars!

Ayse was an absolute delight! She was professional, knowable and charming. I had a wonderful day w/ her and she showed me a side of the city I had never seen before. We traveled by tram, taxi and trolley but the best was the ferry on the Bospohrus. The time just flew.

She came to our hotel exactly as planned and had a great schedule prepared. She helped us out with advance bookings as well.
