Having Anna as our tour guide was the smartest thing we did in the whole trip. The morning our ship docked, she picked us up at the pier with a car and driver and got us to the Acropolis before all the tourists showed up.
Then we spent the rest of the day having a very informative, cheerful and knowledgeable new friend show us all around her beloved city.
We never could have seen so much or learned so much on our own.
I'm very glad we used her and recommend her highly.

Tour guide services/sample itinerary:
If you are on a cruise ship that docks at the port of Athens so you only have a few hours at your disposal and you want to make sure that you visit the highlights but avoid the crowds on the other hand, if you are on a business trip but want to take advantage of your free time, contact me in advance so to make the best of it.
During your staying, I will guide you at the most important monuments and museums, stroll in the old part of the town called Plaka, taste the fabulous starters and specialties of Greek cuisine at a traditional taverna and talk about history, mythology, customs and modern life so as to get the most of your staying.
I can pick you up from your hotel or your cruise ship by taxi or a mini van, drive to the center of Athens, visit the ancient marble stadium used for the first modern Olympic games in 1896 and the finish of the marathon race, see the changing of the guards at the constitution square (syntagma) in front of the parliament, the Academy of fine arts, the University of Athens, the national library, the national garden, visit the temple of Zeus, the Arch of Handrian and of course the Acropolis of Athens with the masterpiece of Greek architecture, the Parthenon.
If you are interested in art and sculpture, your day will not be complete unless you visit the new Acropolis museum with the famous gallery of the Parthenon.

Transportation by tour guide:
I can provide transportation either with a private vehicle if you are a party of two with an extra charge, or by taxi, or a 17-seater mini van if you are a larger group of people.
For the adventurous and lucky ones that will spend many days, I highly recommend a pleasure boat or a sailing boat so as to discover the Greek islands in a unique way.

Anna was excellent!
She met our wedding group of 25 people at our hotel with a new air-conditioned bus, and took us around the city for a tour. Then up the Parthenon to see the Acropolis and all the other incredible temples.
Anna has a great attitude, personality, and knowledge of the monuments and history of Greece- both ancient and current events!
I would highly recommend her to all visitors and guests of Greece.

Anna Benaki
Our family of 7 had a private tour with Anna in Athens. She was awesome. SHe has a pleasant personality and disposition. She fulfilled all the requirements for the perfect tour guide--she was punctual, accomodating and very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time and were extremely pleased with the services she provided. We highly recommend her.
