I am a professional tourist guide in lovely Latvia.
Education - 1982 - Intourist courses, qualification as a tourist guide. Participation in different kind of training courses for tourist guides.
I am married with two children.
1971 – present. A guide, a group manager and an interpreter for foreign tourist groups, individuals or delegations in Latvia, in the Baltics and abroad, a guide, a group manager and an interpreter for groups and government delegations from our country abroad.
2005 (January) I won a scholarship and took part at the 20th convention of the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (WFTGA) in Melbourne.
2007 (January) As a delegate I took part at the 21st Convention of the WFTGA in Cairo.

I found Aija to be punctual and a very pleasant person. Nothing was too much for her to make our tour a successful one. Our requirements were not of the normal type having to travel to another town for our research but Aija organised everything including doing some research and
getting her family to help as well. Her knowledge was excellent and she did not mind spending a few hours longer than quoted for. I can heartily endorse a recommendation for the use of her services.
