I contacted Rudy in Feb and he replied quickly with several suggestions for our March cruise ship stop in Alcapulco. We had been to Acapulco several years back and wanted a more "personal" tour than the ship offered. We choose a 6+ hr tour of the city which was fantastic!! Rudy met us at the pier and introduced us to Marco, our guide for the day. We had a great day, seeing the "real" city, Marco navigated places no bus could go with ease and showed us his city. We traveled around with Roberto for 9 days and it was a real explorer tour. He showed us his home base region Chiapas and later on Yucatan. He is a real expert on the Maya culture and showed us a lot of these sites and colonial cities. For all future visitors, we really advice Roberto as a tour guide on these regions. Senor Alfredo was a wonderful guide who took special pains to make us feel very much at ease. He was always looking out for us and even bought us an unexpected dinner at a wonderful restaurant.
