We were with Isabelle for an entire day's walking tour of Isle de la Cite, Isle St Louis, the Latin Quarter, and the area around the Bastille (including lunch), and though we were physically fatigued by the end of the day, we had seen and learned so much that we would never have seen or learned on our own. Marlene's tour was the absolute highlight of our time in France. Her tour was fantastic and she has tailored it to what we wanted to do. Catherine is an exceptionally gracious, knowledgeable, and kindly guide. Her familiarity with art and art history made our three hour tour of the Louvre (even though we had been there many, many times before) alive and exciting. She was our guest for lunch at Angelina's where we discussed current politics,etc. We then continued on to Montmartre. We had been threre many times as well, but she was full of new insights and knew places in the vicinity to which we had never been.
