Ying arrived at my hotel exactly on time. Unusual in China. We planned a walking route with some cab rides for a tour of the city. We ended up walking from my hotel to Yu Gardens market area, the Bund, Nakking Shopping area, some more markets. I wanted to eat where the locals eat. Since we were walking where most clients take a taxi and breeze by, we found places full of cigarette smoke. We finally found and upscale place and had a delightful lunch. The menu was on an iPad. Great day.

Chelsea was my guide on a day trip to Hangzhou in March 2013. She met me punctually at my hotel in Shanghai. She spoke good English and was a pleasant companion. We had an interesting time in Hangzhou, and she didn't try to lure me into expensive shops in the hope of earning a commission. Despite my tendency to leave things to last minute, she made sure that we caught the train back to Shanghai. She looked after me well, and I would certainly recommend her.

I asked Laura for a pickup at the Airport, she was there waiting for me with my name written on a paper. I asked for MegLev train experience and she delivered, including a metro ride to my hotel from the MegLev train terminal in Shanghai. She helped me with the metro card that i used during my stay to visit numerous sites on my own. During the full day tour, she tried her best to provide context and color to the sites by telling me the stories associated with the attractions. She delivered.
