We spent a great day with Christian. He gave us a great tour of the summer palace and expertly guided us through different areas of the city. He was very knowledgeable and personable and made us discover places that you would not typically come across on a standard city tour. We would highly recommend him for a private tour in Vienna.

“Knowing the world helps to understand your native land.”

Living in California for 10 years made me imitate Arnold’s accent.

Home again, I truly try to entertain our guests with relevant information and a fresh way to see the past and present.

As a licensed Austria Guide I do all of Austria - as an experienced Tour Manager I guide my guests all over Central Europe and a wide array of European countries. Read full guide profile »

Walter was very proffessional and had a good grasp of knowledge, not only of Vienna but also other nearby cities/countries. He managed to make the tour unique and showed us some of the things that big tours would miss out.

Although Dutch born, I've been living in Vienna since 1985 and working there as a local guide since 1987.

Not for nothing, Vienna has been selected as one of the most liveable cities in the world and I can show you, why!!

Having been in the Tourism Business since 1976, I've travelled around a lot in Europe and North and Central America.

I have an 18-year-old son, that teaches the Vienna Boys' Choir Tae-Kwon-Do. You can imagine that I'm very proud of him ! Read full guide profile »

We found Rudy extremely knowledgeable. His English is excellent, and he understands Vienna extremely well, and had a lot of anecdotes and stories. I would give him 4 out of 5 thumbs rating. Cheers for now, Sally

Just drive around in circles got out very little. The site that is listed as the highlight being the Imperial Apartments is just driven by not even a stop to take pictures. I expect to have a hour overview, several stops and a tour of the apartments. My other tour from Viator on this trip was great.

It is nice to see foreign people visiting our country. To help them on their way to find easier and giving more details to them to discover and understand it in a better way and with the eyes of an inhabitant is duty of my profession. So come and see, I would be pleased to meet you.

Vienna offers a lot and together with me as an experienced and licensed tourist guide you see more of it in less time.

With pleasure I will accompany you as well to the Vienna Woods, the Danube Valley Wachau and to Burgenland, as well as to Salzburg with the scenic Salzkammergut.

Servus in Wien!

Travelling and exploring cultures is one of my passions and I always search the contact with locals. For me this is the most authentic way to understand a culture, to be part of it, even if it is for a short time. Therefore as a local licensed Tourist Guide I feel I must share my enthusiasm and my knowledge for the art, the music, the architecture and the way of life in Vienna and Austria with visitors of this city and country. I would like you to see the city and the country with different eyes and experience the ambience in a friendly way.

I offer:
